The experience is excellent. Simon is very friendly & helpful. The driver is also good. Simon contacted me a day b4 the tour and gave me the van number. They also arrived early on the actual day. Simon is very knowledgeable about the history of Ipoh. The tour is great.
Simon also recommended places that are near to our accommodation to eat and indeed they are nice.
Thumbs up for Simon and also the driver. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well greeted by our friendly and polite tour guide, Mr Chandran! Journey to Ipoh although was long but Mr Chandra’s sharing on his knowledge of the history behind Ipoh was very much enlightening for us to know more about Ipoh! Making the trip very much enjoyable and meaningful to learn about every stops we made in Ipoh! Best part was the piping hot and scrumptious chicken rice we had for lunch and the shopping for Ipoh delicacies to be be brought home as gifts for friends and relatives! Highly recommended choice for visitors who want to learn more of Ipoh history and shopping!
Thank you so much our tour guide as well as our driver, Raja for taking care us throughout the trip. As this is our first time visiting Malaysia, he provided lots of information about the attractions as well as the cities we visited.
Sufficient time was given to visit the attractions during the day trip so no need to rush at all. The highlight of the trip is that we told Raja that we would like to buy some peanut candies in Ipoh as souvenirs, Raja drove us to the shop and accompanied us to queue up for more than 2 hours. He asked my wife and my young baby to wait inside the car and helped her to queue up. This is so nice and thank you very much for the kindness.
My group with 6 adults and 2 kids were so happy with the trip.Besides the itinerary planned, we were taken care carefully by Peter, the driver and tour guide. He introduced us a lot of usefull and interesting on history and culture of Malaysia and Ipoh. The lunch was at one of the best 100 restaurant in Malaysia and gave us the very good impression on the chicken rice here. Absolutely recommend to come to Ipoh esp using Klook' service
It’s a really good overview of the town and as a Singaporean the great thing about a local guide is that we were taken to all the best local favourites not just the touristy spots.
Gavin our guide was very friendly and helpful. As it was a private tour, we could request changes, for example, I had no interest in temples or the pomelo farm but wanted to see Kellie’s Castle which I think is a must go for photography. For a small additional fee, as it was quite a way out of town, we have a great time exploring this unique building.
A tip is to bring a hat, it was pretty hot walking around the castle.
Our day was great when we visited the place.
Good views, good food, great people!
It gave us that familiar feeling even though it was only our first time to visit the place.
The driver was kind enough to tell us some bits and pieces about the place.
We would definitely want to go back again to this place, now with our kids!
Thanks, Klook Team!
