Taipei truly comes alive at night. With bustling street markets, nighttime shopping and a lively bar scene, you won't be short of sights to see after dark. Your tour begins as it only should when in Taipei, with a delicious meal at the famous Ding Tai Fung before heading on to the cultural stops. Roam through Huaxi Street Night Market where people flock for Taiwanese noodles, snake soups, squid stews and iced desserts, enter amongst the gentle glow of temple lanterns at tranquil Lungshan, then gaze upon the city lights of buzzing Xinyi District beneath 509-meter high Taipei 101.
Spend the afternoon in the crafty districts of Taiwan visiting the country's cultural centers and watching talented artisans at work. Begin in Sansia, a traditional district known for its well preserved Japanese colonial architecture and famed Tsushih Temple, an exquisite example of intricate Chinese temple art and sculpture. Next, head to the famous pottery town of Yingge, boasting several hundred pottery studios and shops. Even today, the village square displays a coal-fire kiln for a landmark! Roam the old pottery street, watch potters at work and shop for your very own unique ceramics.

It was a great experience since are tour guide (Anita) was very lively and knowledgeable in explaining the history of Juifen, always willing to answer questions and she also provided a list some of the restaurants that she love which is very helpful to confirm what was indicated in the internet. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We were lucky to have this tour all by ourselves. Although we had a hard time looking for the meet up place, the tour company (Keelung for a walk) responded immediately to our email query and we were able to meet our guide. The tour was very interesting and informative. We had some free local delicacies. The tour guide Benny is very thoughtful, he made sure we were comfortable during the tour considering the scorching weather that day. He even googled the last departure time of the train back to taipei for us.
One of the most memorable tours I've ever had. Mila and Britney were great guides -- the best ones I was fortunate to meet. I really felt how much they loved the city and how passionate they are with what they do. It was just the kind of tour that I was looking for and I would not hesitate to recommend it other people who want to know more about Keelung and its warm, friendly people.
The best part of the tour was I was able to see up close traditional musicians practice and play. It was a really nice treat!
