Live Nation is thrilled to announce that Taiwanese pop and folk singer, Tsai Chin, also known as "Taiwan's Patti Page", will be holding her 2023 concert in Singapore at Sands Expo® and Convention Centre, Level 5, Sands Grand Ballroom on 20 August, where she will be showcasing many of her classic songs in her nearly 50-year career as a singer!
Tsai Chin rose to stardom after the release of her first album, "Farewell My Country". The songs in the album, such as "Just Like Your Tenderness", "The Last Night", "Reading You" and "The Spirit of Your Eyes", etc., were popular throughout the 80s and 90s. Till date, Tsai Chin has released 40 albums, including her own songs and classic old songs, as well as theme songs featured in famous films and movies. Tsai Chin's musical talent and unique voice have enabled her to emerge in the music industry with a remarkable influence. Tsai Chin is praised for her skilled and diverse singing techniques, as she can easily switch between different genres and emotions, deeply touching the hearts of the audience while bringing warmth and strength to the listeners.
Tsai Chin revealed that her team unanimously agreed with the theme of this concert, "Hao Xin Qing", which is a homonym of 'good mood', as it will make people feel happy just by hearing the word. Tsai Chin feels that "when things go wrong, one should always maintain a good mood, otherwise you may feel the blues and give up easily". She said that due to the pandemic, she was unable to go on tour to perform. She believes that without a good mood, even if it was a fulfilling and busy period, she will not be able to stay cheerful. “People can't go out, so it’s only a given for people to feel down. If you are filled with negativity all the time, regression happens." Tsai Chin hopes to convey positive energy to the audience through this concert because she feels that "only by staying optimistic during difficult times can we see the light in the dark, be full of positive energy, and have a good mood every day". It’s no doubt that Tsai Chin's concert this time round will be a touching and joyful musical feast, conveying positive energy and deep emotions through her songs and performances, treating fans to a concert like never before.
