Groove Station Traditional Latin Music | Live House Information

Groove Station is a Top Latin fusion and Latin jazz band led by Colombian vocalist & songwriter Norma Medina and Brazilian guitarist and composer and session player Fabio Moreira.

Norma & Fabio have a vast experience in the music industry having learnt, played, performed, taught and touring for many years around the world. The first time the pair visited Taiwan was in 2013 until 2015 invited by a Taiwanese recording company. And their second visit was in 2018 where Fabio released his first Solo Instrumental Album ‘FISON’.

At the end of 2018 Norma and Fabio formed GROOVE STATION , inviting High level musicians that resides in Taiwan to join them. Together they perform fine covers and original tunes, written by Norma and Fabio performing at some well known music Festivals as ‘World Music Festival 2020 & 2021, Taipei Jazz Festival 2020 & 2021, SMEXY, Yuppy Bookstore, TV Music Shows as 人與琴的對話 Channel 37 and at 大聲My客風 , having as influence Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Elis Regina, Ed Motta, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Maria Rita, just to name a few, highlighting their Latin roots with a strong fusion of Funk, Rock, Jazz, Samba, Axé and Son Montuno.
