The Questionables|Exhibition Introduction
The well-known director and artist Mr. Tripleton presents the full-length version of "The Questionables"

Walking into the colorful world of money, wandering between reality and virtual
In this day and age, everyone is busy finding money, laundering money, and saving money. Talking about money is more important than talking about love. Cross-media artist Mr. Tripleton talks money through The Questionables, creating a series of captivating paintings using dollar bills as templates. The banknotes depict unrealistic characters representing their own unpredictable moods, and are adorned with cryptic symbols, including a crown and the 777 in a slot machine. All details have been carefully calculated and just the right size, presenting a unique modern aesthetic. The full-length version of "The Questionables" will be exhibited at JCCAC from March 18-20, 2023.

The famous director and artist Mr. Tripleton explores the parallel world with the lens of the movie. The selected text is inspired by ideas, experiences and dreams, and reveals the essence of life. The work makes the audience reflect on the value of money - do you really know the original meaning of money? The full-length exhibition exhibits many works and 10 new patterns. This time, he also collaborated with ceramic artist Vonnie @vonnieclayworks to create a series of ceramic works, which three-dimensionalize the most primitive and real emotions, and exhibited for the first time in the exhibition. Ceramic works express emotional release and find inner peace in the turmoil.

Influenced by London's punk culture in the 1980s, Mr. Tripleton uses bold colors and wild brushstrokes to deduce an unorthodox style. Mr. Tripleton also pays tribute to famous contemporary artists Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, cleverly combining modern cultural symbols and unrealistic images to create rich visual effects. Each work is hand-screen printed with 20 to 60 layers of coloring, using a variety of printing techniques, such as lithography, woodcut and etching, etc., and the production is meticulous. Since its launch, Mr. Tripleton's works have been loved by many art collectors, including Edison Chen, Zeng Guoxiang, Chen Kexin, Xiang Zuo and MC Ren.

Mr. Tripleton now sincerely invites the audience to explore its movie world "The Questionables", wander between reality and virtuality, put aside inherent cognition, and embrace infinite possibilities.
