did not expect to have a nice connection since egypt has speed limit. this is my first time to purchase esim from klook because i have preferred esim provider, but what i got from klook is cheaper and reliable. better connection than my previous esim for egypt. will try another esim in a different country next time

I used this on my trip to Egypt. I was very satisfied with using Klook eSIM for my entire 11-day trip to Egypt. I installed it in Taiwan before departure, and as soon as I landed at Cairo Airport and turned on data roaming, I had a signal right away. I didn't have to wait in line to buy a SIM card at all, which really saved a lot of time for leading a tour group. Entry, gathering guests, and contacting the tour guide all went smoothly without any disconnections. The signal was generally stable in downtown Cairo, the Pyramids, Alexandria, and the Luxor Temple area. Using Google Maps, uploading photos, and sending LINE messages were all fine. The signal was slightly weaker in some sections of the Nile River cruise, but it basically returned to normal after docking, which was acceptable. There was occasionally no signal in desert areas (such as on the way to Hurghada), but this is because the local base station coverage is limited, not a problem with the eSIM itself. In terms of speed, watching 720p videos was no problem, and uploading to IG and replying to messages was smooth. It's perfectly adequate for travel use. The biggest advantage is that you don't have to change the physical card, you can keep your original Taiwan number to receive text messages (bank verification is very important), and the setup is very simple, which is suitable for people who don't want to study too many technical settings.
