I enjoyed my 1st day tour in Thailand. Thank you Boon for sharing your ideas and knowledge too. Aside from that you are not boring and funny. Sometimes, it's up on the hands of the tour guide on how he/she will handle the tour. Thumbs up for you.

Thanks to our tour guide, Danny….he did try his best to serve us…..unfortunately some of us couldn’t take spicy Khao Soi food, but it’s a Michelin delicacy

Exploring northern Thailand's Long Neck Village, hill tribe communities, and Wat Pha Lat is a deeply rewarding journey that allows tourists to connect with ancient traditions, witness stunning natural landscapes, and experience the peaceful spirituality that defines this region. These experiences offer a perfect balance of cultural insight and tranquility, making them essential highlights for any traveler seeking a genuine and memorable adventure in Thailand.

Pros: - patient, enthusiastic, informative, and hardworking tour guide - comfortable van with AC - timely pick up and drop off from our hotel - tour felt like the perfect length, not too long or short - 3 stops which are all so beautiful on their own - food is provided by the tour to offer to the monks Cons: - if you’re prone to motion sickness, take meds beforehand!

We took the 1 day chiang rai tour. Start off with the hot spring (frankly nothing special, the area is not well maintained & super rundown, I suggest to skip). Then we reached white temple (everyone asked me to come!!) And the amount of visitors are massive.. so it is not easy to get a good angle of nice photos if that's your intention.. you will surely be disappointed.. however is felt is a superb place to have a look a the intrinsic character and the meticulous craft that was put into the making.. some parts looked a little scary but, is an experience. Then we went to singha park for lunch & the ambience is great, food is good and not expensive but the service is top notch. After lunch we went to long neck Karen and again, i believe it is a dying tribe as the world advance further. We get the chance to understand the culture, their way of life and how they make a living as a aboriginal. Again, another interesting chapter in one of my book of life. The last stop was to blue temple and this has some similarities with the white temple since it was the creation of the disciple of the white temple's artist. Is kind of painful to travel 3 hours from chiang mai (1 way) for this tour. If you have time, it would be good to perhaps stay a night and move to another area heading up further.

At first, I was planning to go to Doi Suthep to see the night view of Chiang Mai and go on a night tour, but I signed up for this tour because I thought I could see the night view and sunrise together due to the tour time. It was a much more satisfying time than I expected. I think the sunrise experience at the wonderful temple in Chiang Mai will remain as a good travel memory. The pick-up time was kept well during the trip, and I was grateful for the detailed explanation of the travel destination and the kind consideration of the guide James throughout the tour.

I'm really satisfied. Even though I was the only participant, he guided me full time kindly and I was able to understand not only Chiang Mai but also the overall culture of Thailand. It was a good experience and I would like to recommend it.
