An Unforgettable Day Trip from Vienna to Budapest! Our whirlwind tour from Vienna to Budapest was nothing short of spectacular! The early morning car ride offered stunning views of the countryside, and by Mid morning, we were already immersed in Budapest’s grandeur—starting with Liberty Square and the house of Parliament. Walking down Danube river near Széchenyi Chain Bridge felt like stepping into an artistic dream. The highlight? Crossing the Chain Bridge to Buda’s historic quarter. Fisherman’s Bastion’s panoramic views and Matthias Church’s intricate details left us in awe. I squeezed in a quick coffee at a ruin bar. Last but not least, I would like to appreciate Mr. Simeon’s insightful tour guide. He recommended us his favourite coffee shop in Budapest, Expresso embassy, a very chic and chill place to hangout and enjoying coffee. Moreover, Mr. Simeon explained some of the historic incidents during the visit of some iconic places to demonstrate and deepen our experience in here.

It is quite convenient to visit the three small towns by car. In fact, each place is not too far away and can be reached in about an hour. It is much more convenient to have a car to pick up and drop off. After our tour guide got on the bus, he started to introduce the scenic spots and scenery along the way from Chain Bridge to Margaret Bridge. When the group members asked questions or chatted, the tour guide would join in the chat, which felt very cordial. The key point is that the English accent is not very strong. Even though my English is not good during the whole tour, I can grasp about 60% of the meaning (laughs). It's a pity that Ostergon is undergoing renovations, and I heard it will take a long time. In addition, I didn’t go up to the fortress in Visegrad, thinking I could walk around and take pictures, but it turned out that I could only watch it from a distance, which was a pity. It would be nice to go for a walk if there is a chance for good weather.

The tour guide Amy explained very carefully, the schedule was not rushed and she informed the shooting spots in a timely manner. It is highly recommended for independent travelers to participate.

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and attentive, and gave a detailed introduction. However, the weather was too hot that day, and the air-conditioning in the car was also very weak, so I was a little tired. Otherwise, this trip would be very good😆 (If your English is not good enough, I suggest you do your homework first, otherwise listen None)

At first, I didn’t know how to find the tour guide at the contact point. Fortunately, with the help of church staff, I pointed out the group gathering location. I almost thought I was going to miss it! ! The young tour guide, himself a Jew, shared his experiences and history. He spent the most time in the church, took a brief look at the Jewish Museum, then went to the Memorial Garden and ended with the statue of the Swiss Ambassador who saved Jewish children.

After attending George’s Hungarian cooking class, I must say it was an incredible experience. George’s passion for Hungarian cuisine was evident in every lesson, and his step-by-step guidance made even complex recipes feel achievable. The flavors we created were authentic and delicious, and I learned so much about the culture behind the dishes. His warm and encouraging teaching style made the class both educational and enjoyable. I can’t wait to try these recipes at home. Highly recommended!

great way to see the sights if you don’t have much time. although we were late to start due to traffic, the tour guide, Marie, made sure to take us through everything as well. she also tried to make sure everyone in the group was taken care of. she also has good knowledge of the places.
