Nestled in the vibrant heart of Phuket, Thailand, Phuket Zoo was once a bustling attraction that offered visitors a unique opportunity to experience exotic wildlife up close. Established in 1997, this private zoo became a popular destination for tourists seeking an adventurous day amidst the lush landscapes of Phuket. Known for its exotic animal exhibits and entertaining shows, the zoo allowed visitors to engage closely with wildlife. However, it also faced criticism for its treatment of animals, which eventually led to its closure in 2020. This marked a significant victory for animal welfare advocates, as the zoo's animals are now being transitioned to sanctuaries by the Wildlife Friends Foundation, offering them the care and freedom they deserve. The story of Phuket Zoo serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of ethical wildlife tourism, leaving behind a complex legacy that continues to intrigue and spark discussions among travelers and animal lovers alike.

Racha Island boasts clear waters and fine sandy beaches, with excellent snorkeling and abundant fish. We had a very enjoyable time, the itinerary was comfortable, well-organized, and we would definitely go again.

The ATV speed was good, thrilling, and fun! I think one hour is just right. As for the Big Buddha, since it's under maintenance, you can only see its side, which is a bit of a pity. But Wat Chalong is really worth visiting, although this tour only allows 25 minutes there, which is clearly not enough. If you enjoy visiting temples, consider skipping the Wat Chalong portion of this tour and visiting separately at another time.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Oasis Sky Breeze Spa in Kata. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and beautifully designed. My therapist was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. The treatment itself was heavenly — two hours of pure bliss that left me feeling refreshed and recharged. Everything was well worth the price, offering great value for money. The spa was easy to reach, and the staff made the whole process seamless. They do surprisingly offer rides between the resort (Club Med) and their spot. I highly recommend this spa to anyone visiting Phuket who wants a truly luxurious and rejuvenating experience.
