After coming from Sapa, using the sleeper bus, we just left our suitcases at the hotel and then we went straight here because the check-in time was still long (we arrived at 6am and checked in at 2pm). The first trip we took was at 9:15am to the theater because it was the weekend. We just walked from Hanoi old quarter, that's why. It's a good thing we walked because it was a way to pass the time and there was something blocking the road because there was a night market. It's actually okay because you'll be given earphones so you can listen to the explanation about the history of the buildings, streets and all. Just wait for them to give you the earphones when you enter because I was excited so I asked right away 🤣. The speaker was clear, his head was moving left and right so I knew what he was talking about. The background music was just making me sleepy. Or were we just tired? hehe overall it was good. It was also 1 hour 😁

The hotel is located right in the center, near Uncle Ho's mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda. However, the food in Hanoi is not to my taste because I am addicted to MSG.

Highly recommended experience in Hanoi. Hung (“Pickle”) is not only a master chef but a hilarious entertainer. We learned to make four different Vietnamese dishes from scratch, and had an interesting tour of the local market. You’ll have a blast and come to a new understanding of how difficult it is to make good pho!

So, for context I'm 5'10 and on the heavier side so I'm not really into riding sleeper bus. HK bus is an exemption to that, this is spacious and comfortable. I also love the privacy of each cabin. Now, my tip is for you to always choose the lower cabin! Enjoyyyy!
