Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

The pick-up arrived at my hotel on time on the day of the tour, which made my husband and I feel at ease. He gave us enough time to visit various attractions. We were lucky to be blessed with great weather and had an excellent time. Our tour guide Alessandro was punctual and took good care of us, especially when one of our friends was experiencing altitude sickness. Alessandro was also very knowledgeable and was able to explain to us fun facts and history of things we saw along the way. I personally found the Verdon Gorge so breathtakingly beautiful, and my friends were very pleased to have caught the lavender fields in bloom for some great photos.
