Things to do in New Delhi

The organizer will message you in Whatsapp (if you have it) as soon as you book. He will update you of the details of the trip and all. The driver arrived earlier than scheduled and the car is nice and smelt great, everything is hygienic! I’m solo and they gave me two bottles of water. The ride was smooth all the way. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and gives lots of trivia. You can ask questions freely. He really knows his stuff. He will also ask you if you want a pro photographer. Just know that you will take lots of photos and 1 photo is 100 INR. You can choose but he will try to ask if you want all. Next, you’ll go to a handicrafts store selling marble souvenirs, the cheapest is 1000 INR (for a ref magnet made of marble). There are a lot of nice stuff but if you’re on a budget, better ask the guide to skip it. Also, the restaurant (Lotus Restaurant) where they took me is very good. The Butter Chicken is the best! Overall, highly recommended for a smooth visit to the Taj Mahal.

Our full-day tour covered most sites except the stepwell and the President’s House due to time limits/smog. We started around 9:30 am at our request, but I reco sticking to the original schedule and confirming timings with the guide in adv. The guide, Deepanshu (Happy), was knowledgeable and explained the history well, though doing some prior research helps since the many names can be confusing esp. for foreigners. He was also open to suggestions on what you want to do (eat local food, see specific place, etc). Transportation was comfortable, with punctual pickup and drop-off from our hotel and in between places. The driver, Sajan, drove safely. Lunch was arranged at a place called “Local,” which I do not recommend. Many menu items were unavailable, and the staff were rude and asked for a service charge on top of 25% VAT and 5% GST. Overall, this tour is a good option for first-time visitors who want a structured one-day introduction to Delhi, especially if you have limited time.

The best part of this trip wasn't the place itself, but the people I met, especially my tour guide Jugnu. He is the best guide I have ever had, making my trip truly special. He knows his job well, took great photos of me, and is very knowledgeable and informative. He treated me like family, was friendly, and very approachable. If you want to create memorable moments at the Taj Mahal, book this tour package and request Jugnu as your guide. I highly recommend this experience.

absolutely blown away by the tour! Our guide, Faz, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the taj mahal but also a riot to be around, his sense of humor had the whole group laughing and amused nonstop 😄. And a huge shoutout for being an amazing photographer, capturing all the best moments and even giving us some awesome tips! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience. Five stars isn't enough! ☺️

Great experience at the Taj Mahal Visiting the Taj Mahal with an experienced local guide was absolutely worth it. The guide explained every detail clearly and shared deep historical insights, taking very good care of us throughout the trip. I highly recommend having a local guide—you’ll get accurate and meaningful information from someone who truly understands the place. The Taj Mahal is respectful, impressive, and emotional at the same time. The driver was also very polite and professional. And the price was only 1,000—excellent value for such great service. It was such an amazing tour! Bhawani, our guide, was very knowledgeable & funny. Made us feel comfortable and immersed in the culture and history of the city. We went to Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar. Took us to textile, jewelry, miniature painting spots so we could see local industries. Highly recommend him and this tour. Also recommend Sanju our driver.
