Things to do in Ninh Binh

Our tour guide Hoang was the best! Great communication and knowledgable too. We enjiyed every place we went too and he even answers our questions. I had fun walking and hiking. Will definitely book the tour again with my family next time.

Miss Lan is a wonderful person, great tour guide and even greater photographer. She answered all pur questions, explained everything on the tour and was always smiling. We covered all major attractions in Ninh Binh in one day and it was very comfortable. Definitely recommend the tour and Lan!

We had a little hiccup with the tour guide at the beginning, but the team sorted it out, so no big deal! Trang An was definitely the highlight of the tour. As a fan of Kong: Skull Island, I was so excited to see the place in real life! Such a beautiful spot and definitely worth the visit. 😊

This activity is well worth exploring. It started promptly, and the drive was about two hours, with a stop halfway for restrooms and food. I recommend eating breakfast before departing. The first stop was Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where we had about 50 minutes. Remember to bring a fan and an umbrella, as it can suddenly rain heavily in Vietnam! The second stop was for lunch, which was a buffet. The food was decent; don't expect too much, it's just a buffet to fill your stomach. After lunch, our guide took us cycling. If you prefer not to cycle, you can relax at the restaurant. After lunch, we went for a boat ride. There are two locations, Trang An and Tam Coc, and we were assigned to Tam Coc. The entire experience was enjoyable. Remember to bring an umbrella. During the ride, they will try to sell you handmade paintings, but we politely declined. After getting off the boat, the boatman will ask for a tip. The third stop was Mua Caves for hiking. Since the stairs were quite wet after the rain, and we were too tired, we decided not to climb for safety reasons. We sat at the restaurant below and took some photos. I must commend our guide, Ryan; his explanations were humorous, very clear (10/10), and helpful!

Our day exploring Mua Cave, Trang An and Ninh Binh was absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, beautifully paced, and filled with breathtaking scenery. A huge part of what made the day exceptional was our guide Jacy from cozy Vietnam — exceptionally polite, professional, and attentive throughout the entire journey. He made sure we enjoyed every activity without ever feeling rushed, and impressively navigated the schedule so we avoided all peak‑hour traffic and crowds. Climbing Mua Cave’s steps, drifting through Trang An’s serene waterways, and taking in Ninh Binh’s dramatic landscapes felt effortless and immersive. Every moment was well‑timed, comfortable, and thoughtfully planned. A truly five‑star experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Vietnam. If you want, I can also craft a more playful, romantic, or professional version depending on where you plan to post it.

It was all worth it! Me and my friend enjoyed the trip adding to our best experience in Vietnam. Mr. Quan was so approachable and I was impressed with his knowledge about culture and history of Vietnam. The trip we purchased was very fit for us as we don't like having many people in a group. The people we were with was so friendly! Hope to come back and try the other tours!

We traveled from Hanoi's Old Quarter by bus, transferring a couple of times, for about three hours. The bus ride there and back was very comfortable, with charging ports for phones, complimentary water, and massage chairs. The tour started with a breathtaking river cruise! It's definitely a must-do! Next, climbing the mountain was quite challenging. I recommend wearing pants, sneakers, or sandals with good heel support, and bringing a backpack. Choosing the half-day tour was the right decision! I was initially torn because the full-day tour was only about 2,000 yen more, but considering the three-hour one-way travel time and how tiring it can be, I think the half-day tour is better. Our tour guide, Lan, was also very kind and charming, and thanks to her, we enjoyed ourselves until the very end. Thank you for a wonderful time!

The show was much more exciting and wonderful than expected! In addition to the wire-flying stunts, the fire dance performance was particularly spectacular, and the interaction with the audience was a lot of fun. Booking tickets through Klook is very convenient and much cheaper than buying them at the venue. The system also automatically assigns seats, and the seats chosen were quite good. Upon arrival, you just need to exchange your voucher for entry, which is super convenient!

Every arrangement made was accordingly. The private transfer and transport were good and comfortable. All the drivers that served us were very punctual. The only issue was communication with the driver due to their English proficiency, but it can be resolved with Google Translate. The service from Mie (SST travel )is superb. She responded fast to all my enquires and problems. I will definitely looking for her for my next trip to HCMC.
