Review for: Da Nang - Ha Noi

I personally didn't think that this is the worst transportation you'll get. I mean like, they offer you a cheap price. so bear with it. for me, They gave me a nicest seat one and they also stop in some rest areas, giving us time to go to toilet. you could charge your phone/devices all along the trip, it was cold enough inside the bus, they gave you blanket too, and a bottle of mineral water.

the bus will stop at some rest areas. even you can ask them if it is emergency. they provide water, wifi, but the staff at the bus couldn't speak english. they will ask you to come at 4.40 at meeting point and call a taxi to take you to the bus station. it will cost you about 90.000 dong.

I was worried because the departure time and seat number were not displayed, but I arrived comfortably and earlier than expected. It takes about 11 hours.

The description on the website is too sketchy, leaving travelers with no reference when ordering. I hope Klook can write it more clearly. 1. Itinerary: The klook website states that the meeting time is 17:00, and please arrive at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes before departure time. When I was in Vietnam, I received a notice from the supplier the day before that the meeting would be changed to 16:30. They will take the passengers to the bus station in a shared car at 16:45 (the journey takes about 30 minutes), and the arrival time is 17:15. When we got to the sleeper bus, the driver informed us that the departure time was 18:45, which meant that we had to wait there for 90 minutes. This was something we didn’t know beforehand (if we knew, we could at least buy dinner in advance and go to the bus station to eat). Although the final arrival time in Da Nang was about 05:45, which was less than the 15 hours stated on the website, the process was very tiring. 2. Seat design: For a girl with a height of 165cm, it is just right, very just right. Male companions said it was very crowded. 3. Ride experience: Every time you arrive at a rest stop (about three on the way), the driver will pat the bedside of all passengers to wake them up, which is very difficult for people who have finally fallen asleep. This itinerary is more suitable for travelers who want to sleep easily and want to save money, but I hope the website can write it more clearly so that travelers can consider it when ordering.

It sucked. We were asked to leave from 17:30 to 18:30, which wasted everyone's time. Moreover, the local bus station asked a taxi to take us to the bus station without making it clear to the taxi. As a result, the driver got off the bus and yelled at me. We paid, and finally it ended and a terrible journey started again. No one came to pick us up and tell us which bus we were taking because there was no voucher for us. The people on site also had poor English and it was difficult to use translation software. It was difficult to communicate. It took a lot of time to find someone to pick us up. The cleanliness of the car was no problem, but the driver kept smoking like crazy in the car, which made people doubt their life.

The bus was outside the Da Nang bus station. Although the bus was licensed to Hanoi, most foreigners went to Ninh Binh. The driver also assumed that the bus went to Ninh Binh. I happened to be the only Asian face on the bus that day, and I pronounced Hanoi wrong, so I almost didn't get on the bus.

If you go to the meeting point at 4:45 PM, they will call a taxi. The bus was not boarded at the meeting point, but at the bus terminal. The road was blocked so it took about 30 minutes. The bus did not leave immediately, but boarding began at 6:10 pm. Actually, it departed at 6:30 PM and had to wait outside during that time. The restroom could be used for a fee. I stop at a rest area at 9:30 PM and after that I run non-stop until Da Nang. You can eat dinner, buy snacks, or go to the bathroom at the rest area. It took about 12 hours to get to Da Nang and arrived around 6:15 am. The bus had blankets, water, and air conditioning at each seat. You must take off your shoes and get a plastic bag to put your shoes in. Slippers are provided at the rest area, so you can leave your shoes behind. You can charge your cell phone via USB and wifi is provided.

Take a plane. The reckless driving took exactly 11 hours, including a quick stop at a gas station restroom in just 4 hours, and non-stop driving all the way to Da Nang, unable to drink water even when I was thirsty due to menstruation. The hardest thing is holding back menstruation for 7 hours. And the ticket price here is very expensive.

The gas of the motorcycle they loaded on the bus leaked all thru out the ride. It made me dizzy and did not slept at all. It is hazardous thus I am with my 2 year old son. It is hard to explain to the personnels that ot smelled gas because of the communication barrier. much better if we take flights the next time.
