Mandarin Oriental | Cafe Causette | Afternoon Tea、3-course Dinner Set

On the menu that day, we ordered crab meat and corn soup. We didn't expect that such a simple soup would taste outstanding. Another starter is honey grilled chicken wings with wild mushrooms, poached eggs and black truffle sauce. I didn't expect the chicken wings to be so delicious. I smiled and told the staff that I hope I can make such delicious chicken wings one day. For the main meal, I chose fish, which was served with white wine cream sauce, which tasted very tangy. Cooking Western food is not difficult, but making a delicious sauce requires considerable effort. My husband ordered the stir-fried Australian beef tenderloin with Sha Jiao, which I thought tasted pretty good. For dessert, we ordered lemon baba with blueberries and strawberry cake with guava strawberry sorbet. I prefer strawberry cake with sorbet. It turns out that the set meal also includes drinks. I ordered Ice Mocha, and the waiter suggested adding half the cream, because whole cream is too evil, and drinks with an evil after-drinking feeling are the most delicious. Although this dinner is simple, it is very cost-effective, costing only more than 400 yuan per person and including service charge. The staff are polite and nice. The most important thing is that you are happy and value for money.

The taste was good. The waiters were not very enthusiastic overall, but they responded when I called them. They seemed tired and busy, which was different from what I imagined the service at Mandarin Oriental should be. The appetizer was just okay. For the main course, the three of us chose steak, which tasted good. We all wanted to lose weight so we didn’t finish the dessert. I wrote "Happy Birthday" and candles as requested in the notes and I am very satisfied. Finally, I bought a scone to take away, but the scone I took away was charged 10%, which means a scone cost almost 100, which is really expensive🥲

Delicious foods. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts are amazing. The jasmine tea was also very fragrant!

The restaurant knew that a relative had a birthday and sent a small birthday cake as a handwritten birthday card. The food was rich and delicious, and I was so full. We chose the Mandarin Oriental hotel cafe to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The service was attentive, the food was good, the amberjack was delicious, and overall it was a great experience. We received a surprise of roses and chocolate.
