House of Taste Thai Cooking Class & Market Tour in Sukhumvit,Bangkok

We did the morning session on a Friday. Jan was a great instructor. She was super funny and we learned alot about Thai cooking with her. The cooking school was comfortable and clean. The market tour was a little different than I expected. I was thinking that we would go around a big street market to pick up groceries but instead it was just a quick 15 min stop at a small one. Highly recommend!

Chef Yokky was an excellent teacher—fun, engaging, and attentive to our needs. She entertained us with quizzes throughout the class and answered all our questions. The staff wearing "Don't Ask Me Questions" shirts were like silent ninjas, ensuring our safety and keeping our workspaces clean and organized. The space was cozy and well-ventilated, and we cooked outdoors with individual ranges. Our class size of 12 was perfect for meeting new people while feeling intimate. The mini-adventures, like the market tour and tuk-tuk ride, were fun extras. Whether a beginner or an experienced cook, this class is excellent for all levels. I barely cook at home, and my mom cooks daily, and we both loved the experience. It's also ideal for anyone curious about Thai food, especially if you want a sit-down experience rather than a more physical walking tour. I highly recommend it!

had a great time learning some scrumptious dished from April. she was clear and taught us with patience. the cooking school was very clean and aesthetic too. kudos to her helpers who quickly arranged the stuff required for cooking.

Super recommend. After this class everyone can have a basic sense about how to use Thai spices and sauces,super helpful for me.And our chef Jay is so wonderful,super patient and so easy and fun to have a great class with her.Very happy that I did it and can’t wait to go back to make some fresh Thai food for friends and family ❤️ One pity thing is here only allow pics.I made some great videos for Chef Jay and can’t share them.

Going to the wet market to buy groceries and riding a tuk tuk was fun. The instructor explains clearly and the assistants are very helpful. The cooking process has been simplified so that everyone can succeed.

Had Gift as our instructor, she was knowledgable and had a great sense of humour, dishes were simple to make and delicious

it was fun but way too hot. Parts of the cooking was done by selected few and not everyone. It was a little annoying as there were people there wasn't interested in the class, made the experience not so fun.
