POP! POP! POP! An Interactive Journey

The first exhibition to be presented by Kaohsiung Music Center, "POP! POP! POP! An Interactive Journey" provides a compressive perspective on the history of pop music in Taiwan, while also incorporating elements of public curation, giving visitors a chance to voice their thoughts on what pop music is.

The “Sounds of the South” section of the exhibit focuses on the musical and cultural lineage of Taiwan’s southern region. Aside from including keywords in interactive sound installations representative of southern Taiwan as chosen by visitors, this area also provides an in-depth look at the culturally significant individuals and incidents in Kaohsiung’s music history.
