What to expect

Try picking tea leaves in Kagoshima by yourself, the second-largest tea producer in Japan! The change in the seasons from spring to summer marks the beginning of tea harvesting season. Kagoshima comes second after Shizouka for high-end manufacturing tea in Japan. Most regions of Japan crop their tea 2-3 times a year, while in Kagoshima, people harvest tea leaves 4 times.
