Reviews
Nice quick and easy tour to do. Pick the morning tour to avoid traffic. Tour takes you to various highlights. Make sure you follow dress code for basilica, shorts or ripped jeans not allowed so missed out on seeing the Basilica.
It was relatively good. Transaction was swift. We need not worry at all. Our assigned driver (Sir Marlowe) was on time. although that packing didn't contain a professional tour guide he knows what we needed. He also acknowledged our request for Temple of Leah as per Island Trek's approval with addition charge. Nevertheless the trip was worth it especially for 1st time visitors.
Enjoyed the City tour we choose the morning itenerary to avoid traffic and it helps a lot! Cj is not only a driver but give us some information about the local area
My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Cebu City, and we had a lovely time! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the vibrant culture, warm hospitality, and rich history of the city. We explored stunning landmarks like Magellan's Cross, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, and Fort San Pedro, each offering a glimpse into Cebu's unique heritage. The friendly locals made our trip even more special, sharing stories and recommendations that enriched our experience. Whether you're interested in history, food, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Cebu City has something for everyone. We highly recommend visiting this amazing city, and we can’t wait to return for more exploration!
Tour guides can answer questions about on-time pick-up and drop-off. Most of the scenic spots that are arranged also have local culture, but few take the initiative to explain the characteristics of each scenic spot and the location arrangements that need to be improved. For example, if the tourist attractions are closed on the day, shorts and sandals are not allowed in churches, etc. Because tourists are not familiar with the local culture, they need to inform in advance or "Proactively" modify the itinerary at the moment instead of waiting for us to ask before adding or modifying
This tour brings you to the touristy spots in the heart of Cebu namely Magellan’s cross, Basilica de Sto. Nino, National Museum of the Philippines in Cebu, Fort San Pedro, among others. For me, the highlight is the Cebu Museum and Fort San Pedro. In Cebu museum, there is the replica of the Murillo-Velarde Map (oldest map depicting WPS). Fort San Pedro became a highlight because we had a a Tourism student who gave us a tour and explained about the significance of the place. If you happen to see them, don’t hesitate to avail. Tour is free but you can give gratuity. We would appreciate it better if the driver also doubled as a tour guide so that the trip would be more informative. Also suggest that the tour is more flexible.
The day before, we received an email confirming the fuel surcharge and driver information. The driver arrived on time and proactively reminded us about the dress code for the church, which gave us time to go back to our room and change. This tour is suitable for history enthusiasts; the driver will provide a brief introduction to the attractions and help with photos! Splitting the cost among everyone made it quite a good value.
The tour I booked with them last minute after my tour with another company got cancelled the evening before due to lack of participants, was a lifesaver. They confirmed the details meticulously via email, so I was able to go without worry. It was the best value for money, touring the main tourist spots in Cebu in 4 hours! The driver wasn't pushy at all and let us move at our own pace. I was able to enjoy it thoroughly. I don't think a taxi would have been the same. If I could ask for one more thing, it would be if they had taken photos for us.
The driver arrived and picked us up from the hotel exactly on time. The trip to the sights was very comfortable. We had enough time to explore everything. On the way back, at our request, the driver took us to the place we wanted. Great experience.
4hrs half day city tour was very convenient and hassle-free especially if your assigned driver is accomodating and nice.
