We loved our trip to Andong. We were picked up from our hotel in Myeongdong which made the early start a lot easier. The journey itself was long, but it did not feel so as our guide June was so friendly, as were the other two people who made up our party of four. We travelled on a Saturday so the traffic was worse than usual, but the van was so comfortable we did not mind. We even got to experience the motorway services which we would not have been able to otherwise - the food was delicious. Our driver was excellent and even picked fresh Jujube fruit for us to try. Andong Hahoe Village was just wonderful. So peaceful, and the same families have been living there for 600 years. The Neo-Confucian academy was a short drive from the village and also very peaceful. It was such a change of pace from Seoul, and we felt like we were experiencing the authentic, traditional Korea of the past. We had planned to travel to Andong ourselves, but this tour took away all the stress, and we saw a lot more than we would have by attempting this ourselves. Don't be put off by the 3 hour plus journey time, this was the highlight of our trip to Korea. Thank you, June!
Lovely day in Andong with the amazing June! The drive back and forth might have been a bit long, but it was super comfortable! We went to the Confucian Academy, had a delicious lunch and then headed to the Hahoe Folk Village. June was very enthusiastic and attentive! Could not have been better, highly recommended! :)
Fabulous! Small group of great people, led by wonderful June...visiting historic Andong village was a highlight of this trip to Korea. The ride was very comfortable (and our driver even bought us walnut snacks at the rest area!)

- Pick-up time will be earlier around 7:30 AM but it can be changed by your Hotel location
