The tangerine peel flavor is quite fragrant, the water chestnut is crisp, and there's a hint of osmanthus. It's not too sweet, and tastes pretty good. It's a rare flavor, so if you're tired of the traditional New Year cake flavors, you can give it a try.
As always, this cake box is beautiful, but it felt like it had been sitting out for a long time when I picked it up today. Also, I noticed it didn't seem to have been refrigerated, which made it look a bit strange, and I'm concerned it won't last very long.
Skip the line for pickup. No QR code needed, just manual name verification, which could take a while if there are many people. Beautiful packaging. Delicious.
