When you buy the ticket from Klook you just go through the gates and scan true QR code- no need to change it at counter for entry ticket. this makes it easier to skip the lines. It gets crowded quickly so this saves time! The monkey Forest has changed since I was last here and it looks like it’s getting more . The monkeys are cute and mischievous. Staff all around to help if you need a photo, hat retrieved or to shoo away the monkeys if they become troublesome! Loved my time here.
The Monkey Forest is a fun and unique experience! There are lots of monkeys , most are playful and entertaining, though some can be a bit aggressive. One even grabbed a keychain from my bag! Still, it’s a must-visit spot if you love nature and wildlife. Just be careful with your belongings. use my code for discount: JLIKLOOK
i personally think that the entrance fee was too cheap for the maintenance of the forest. There were lot of monkeys which were all friendly by the way. You can interact (with caution of course) with them.
We had an awesome day visiting the Monkey Forest. if you are travelling to Bali with kids, you should definitely head up there. I highly recommend our Driver DIAS, He was on time, very polite and made the long journey to Ubud and back fun and easy for us. We will definitely be using his services again.
There was a line at the entrance so I booked this ticket via Klook before crossing the road. I went to the counter, showed my voucher, and got the physical ticket. Not sure if it was cheaper than the price at the counter but it was easy to redeem so all good.
Booking through klook is the easiest - they confirm immediately right after booking and we didn’t have to wait long to get our tickets. The sacred Moneky Forest is really amazing. it’s a very close encounter with the wild monkeys. One should be careful though, as they are quite cheeky.
used klook, and i don’t have to go to queue just straight to front desk and showed my QR CODE VOUCHER AND got ticket straight ahead. My second time in Monkey forest and it’s the best experience more monkeys than the last time i went to bali back in 2019.
These monkeys are amazing animals very cheesy and will pinch your shiny.l things if given the opportunity. Buy tickets on line so there is no waiting in a queue this place opens at 9am it is good to get there early as it’s not so busy
As the bag rustled, the monkey ran towards me and surprised me. He was startled and went somewhere else, so he followed me and aimed for my bag. I bit my arm because the bag door wouldn't open. When I said it hurt, they glared at me. I took my phone out of my bag from afar. I lost interest because it wasn't what I wanted. Leaving your bag can be dangerous. Overall nicely decorated. It was fun to come all the way to Bali and see monkeys. I regret hitting the monkey with honey chestnuts. Wish you a safe trip.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From the moment I entered the sanctuary, I was captivated by the lush, tropical environment and the enchanting atmosphere that envelops this sacred place. The monkeys were the stars of the show. These long-tailed macaques were not only hilarious with their playful antics but also incredibly adorable and affectionate. Watching them interact with each other and the visitors was an absolute delight. Some monkeys were mischievous, attempting to sneak snacks from unsuspecting tourists, while others were content to lounge around and groom one another. Their varied personalities made each encounter unique and heartwarming. What struck me most was the level of care and respect shown to the monkeys and their habitat. The sanctuary is meticulously maintained, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for these fascinating creatures. The dense foliage, ancient trees, and flowing streams create a serene backdrop that enhances the overall experience. Walking through the sanctuary felt like stepping into a different world, one where nature and wildlife coexist harmoniously. The staff at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary deserve special mention. They were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the monkeys and the preservation of their environment. They provided valuable information on how to interact with the monkeys safely and respectfully, ensuring that both visitors and animals had a positive experience. Their dedication to conservation and education was evident and greatly appreciated. Aside from the monkeys, the sanctuary is home to several ancient temples and statues, adding a spiritual and cultural dimension to the visit. These historic structures, nestled among the greenery, offer a glimpse into the rich heritage of Bali and provide a peaceful retreat within the bustling sanctuary. One of the highlights of my visit was the guided tour, which offered deeper insights into the lives of the monkeys, the significance of the forest, and the ongoing conservation efforts. The guides were engaging and enthusiastic, making the tour both informative and entertaining. I left with a greater appreciation for the delicate balance between humans and wildlife and the importance of preserving such sanctuaries for future generations. In addition to the guided tours, the sanctuary offers various amenities to ensure a comfortable visit. Clean restrooms, well-marked trails, and conveniently located rest areas make exploring the sanctuary a pleasant experience. There are also opportunities to purchase refreshments and souvenirs, with proceeds supporting the sanctuary’s conservation efforts. Overall, my visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. The combination of adorable and amusing monkeys, a stunning natural environment, and a deep sense of cultural heritage created an unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone visiting Bali. It’s a place where you can connect with nature, learn about local wildlife, and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of the forest. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or simply looking for a unique and enriching experience, the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a must-visit destination.
