Milford Sound Boutique Small Boat Cruise

We were lucky to have perfect weather for our Milford Sound cruise and the experience lived up to our expectations. The scenery was amazing and we went close up to waterfalls and seals. The crew were friendly and informative, although sometimes the commentary was hard to hear outside on the aft deck. Tea, coffee and biscuits were included in the price. I would definitely recommend this boat trip.

The views on this trip were biblical/beyond words. This is probably our most memorable and favourite experience whilst in New Zealand. The expertise and experience of the captain really made this a fantastic trip. From the start, with complementary hot drinks and snacks to a friendly and informative crew this is a once in a lifetime experience. The fjords were magnificent, teaming with waterfalls spectacular views dolphins and seals.

The captain has very insightful explanation of all the fiords and how the waterfalls are form. We experienced more than once the “facial” water spray on our faces from the waterfalls and it’s really beautiful and fun for the kids. The boat size is small with loads of Chocolate chip cookies and hot tea available, this make the trip more enjoyable and very customised since the beauty of Milford sound is always subjected to weather changes. The boat is very well maintained and clean.

Very easy redemption of voucher. Amazing view of milford sound fiord. the captain n crews on board provides in-depth commentary on the fiord's geology, wildlife, and history. We went close to the waterfalls to feel the splash of the waterfalls and also near the rock walls to see the seal. Walked about 8- 10 minutes from the parking area, to the terminal. Since we took the last cruise trip which ends at 4.30pm, they provides the bus shuttle from the termi al to the parking area, so that we will be able to drive back to Te Anau before the Gate Closure time at 5pm (road before enter the Homer tunnel).

it was fun and cruise is on time! we are able to get a closer view of the sealion!! it was great and definitely worth it!

Glad we booked this smaller boat. More intinmate and the captain / announcer is very informative and has a great and understanble speech and voice. The snacks are a delight especially the cookies.

Paying for a private small group (6 people including us) was worth it! No one fights for space and was quiet. Coffee, tea, water, and cookies were given which was a plus! The staffs were friendly and gave many facts as the cruise went on too

Milford Sound is probably best experienced in the rain. While it's beautiful when sunny, I imagine the waterfalls you see when it rains are truly breathtaking. It's an incredibly precious experience to witness such magnificent scenery while enjoying cookies, coffee, and tea. There were sandflies before boarding the cruise. (Early May) I recommend bringing something to cover your skin.

The crew members were so friendly, nice, and helpful. Even though the weather was a bit unpredictable, the views of Milford Sound were absolutely stunning! We enjoyed snacks and drinks on board while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend this cruise for anyone visiting Milford Sound!”

We arrived an hour earlier than our booking time and were able to get on an earlier boat since there was availability. Hot drinks and cookies were provided. The captain's commentary was excellent, the weather was great, and we saw dolphins several times.
