After booking the boat ticket, I arrived at Sanjiao Port and went to the pier to buy the Amakusa Treasure Island boat ticket. When I bought it, the station staff first checked my dolphin watching experience ticket. I was not sure whether I had to book it first before I could buy the Amakusa Treasure Island boat ticket. I arrived at Maejima Matsushima Port and exchanged my ticket and waited to board the boat. The boat sailed for about an hour and arrived at the designated point. There were dolphins surrounding the boat, and there were many of them. They were very cute. Although it was raining and the weather was bad, the dolphins also welcomed me warmly. It was a great experience.
It was super fun! There were Chinese-speaking staff here. I was late due to the May Day traffic jam, and the staff was very humane and waited for a while. The dolphins were also very considerate and took a lot of life photos.
Definitely worth it! Guaranteed dolphin encounters and picture-perfect moments! The sunset after the tour was stunning! Booking the 3 PM slot was absolutely the right choice.
It's very convenient to scan the QR code directly at the exchange counter. You really can see dolphins on this trip! There were many dolphins, and the captain was very responsible in searching for them.
The weather was very unstable and rainy before departure, and the staff fully informed us that the wind and waves might be strong while waiting for the boat. They also mentioned that the dolphin watching part of the trip might be affected and that we might not see any dolphins, but they would offer a free ride within one year as compensation. Fortunately, the weather stabilized when we actually set off. The boat ride was a bit bumpy at first, but once we arrived at the spot, we saw many groups of dolphins, which made it all worthwhile! Anyone would be excited to see so many dolphins! Kids would especially go crazy! The ticket exchange process and directions were easy to understand and find, just as described on the website. The staff was very friendly, and we met a staff member who could clearly explain the precautions at each stage in Chinese, which made us feel very reassured. I highly recommend purchasing this tour package, you won't regret it!
An experience you won’t regret, seeing 40-50 dolphins. Very happy! But those who cannot take the boat need to be careful, as it takes about 40 minutes to get there and back (one way). The whole trip takes two hours. Many people were very tired on the way back. . . . .
what a memorable experience. only in fukuoka I can experience watching wild dolphins with a 90% probability of spotting them 😍
If you love dolphins, please join this trip! Took the ferry to the island, Amakusa where we then boarded another boat to go out to the sea to look for dolphins! There were so many groups of dolphins, as many as 20-30 dolphins swimming together! We had an hour out in the sea, just enjoying ourselves, watching the dolphins! What a wonderful day!
The staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Before boarding, they said conditions were great and we could see around 100 dolphins, but the actual visual experience felt like more than 100!
Oh my gosh, this is the first time I've ever seen dolphins, and it's right here! It's absolutely amazing!!! So many adorable ones ☺️ Just blended right into the pod!
