Purchasing round-trip ferry tickets on KLOOK is more affordable than buying them on-site. Booking online in advance also helps secure your itinerary. However, please note that both legs of the journey must be with the same ferry company. To redeem your paper round-trip tickets, present the QR code from your purchase voucher and a valid ID at the corresponding ferry company's ticket counter. Once you arrive in Xiaoliuqiu, remember to keep your return ticket safe, as you'll need it to board the ferry back to Donggang after your trip!
You can redeem it directly at the counter (ID required), and the price is also better than buying on-site. It's very convenient, and seating is open, so you can choose your preferred spot.
After ordering, go directly to the Dongliu Pier to redeem your round-trip ticket. Your ID will be checked. If you have a scooter, simply pay the shipping staff an additional 150 NTD for transport. The overall process is smooth.
I easily booked in advance and exchanged it for a physical ticket at the ticket office, completing the entire process in less than a minute. I even arrived at the ferry terminal ticket office at 3:20 PM and was able to board the 3:30 PM ferry. Highly recommended.
It's very convenient. Just show your ID and QR code at the pier, and you immediately get round-trip ferry tickets. It's also a bit cheaper than buying them on-site. Truly very useful and convenient.
Remember to bring your health insurance card or ID to the counter to pick up your physical tickets after purchasing them here! Sometimes extra departures are added, and I was lucky this time that I didn't have to wait for the next departure an hour later and only had to wait about 15 minutes before boarding. Price: More cost-effective than buying on-site! And you can use a credit card and get rewards when you buy it here, making it cost-effective and convenient.
When I went, the sea was calm, so it only took 20 minutes to arrive from Donggang Ferry Terminal. I used it on a Sunday, and there was a slight difference between the timetable given to me at the ticket office and the actual operating schedule. It seemed like there were more ferry times available, probably because it was a weekend. It would be best to confirm the exact times at the ticket office. Also, you'll need your passport when purchasing or exchanging tickets at the ticket office. I had forgotten my passport at the accommodation, but fortunately, a photo of it was acceptable, so I was able to exchange my ticket without any issues.
The boats of Blue and White Shipping are very new, and the whole journey is stable without the smell of fuel consumption. The round-trip tickets can be booked together with the Xiaoliuqiu motorcycle rental, which is very convenient. The on-site ticket prices are attached for comparison.
The scooter rental place is located after you disembark, go up the stairs, then turn left. Walk to the very end, and it's on your right, in the alley next to "Black Tea Daddy." It's called "Qing Xiang Scooter Rental - Pier Pick-up Point" on Google Maps. On the return trip, we arrived only 10 minutes before the boat departed, and all the seats on board were already taken.
The boat ride was comfortable and clean. The redemption instructions were clear, making it easy and quick to exchange tickets. The price was reasonable, the cabin was new, and the flow of movement was clear and well-marked.
