4G Travel Smartphone (Paris City Center/Paris Airport Pick Up) for Europe

It’s the best choice to rent this device where you get connected while in Paris. I also used it in Belgium and it’s working. Worth the money you paid for. You get 2gb per day and I don’t even finish it. This is really a must!

We rented this Smartphone as a WiFi Hotspot for our EU Trip. Pick up at CDG was easy. (See Photo for reference re: Pick Up Point) Because I had to return the Phone at Amsterdam, I had to wait for the Return address & Envelope, it took time, but the ladies at the Information counter were doing their best. If the drop off was at CDG, I’m certain I won’t experience the wait. Nevertheless, the whole experience was Magnifique! We went to 3 countries but never experienced downfall on the signal. I sometimes go over the limit of 3G in a day, but the connection is still great. The phone lasts for a long time! I didn’t use a power bank to keep it juiced up. It lasted for as long as 12 hours! From the reservation online (via Klook), Pick Up, Network connection, customer service and drop off, it was all seamless. Highly recommended for anyone who needs WiFi!

I picked up my device from CDG airport and I was lucky to have reached the tourist info counter! They were already preparing to close 😅 I rented this phone mainly for the data/hotspot feature. The data connection was very slow on the first day but became okay again when I restarted the phone and reinserted the sim card. You get 4G speeds for 3gb/day and can connect multiple devices. Such a convenient service and the Insidr staff were very responsive and helpful as well! There's a messaging platform setup in the phone so getting in touch with them was quick and easy. They even sent me a reminder the day before I had to return my device and they offered instructions too.

The smart phone comes in handy and generally can be used in places that we visit in Europe. There are certain areas where the reception is not strong, but generally is good. Battery are long lasting too. Collection and return are easy. Just have to be mindful during the return, to place all things as flat as possible to fit into the mailbox.

Since the item is not avaialble for pick up (which is more convinient to me) they delivered it to my hotel and once i check-in it’s already there no need to follow up. Very smooth transaction. The connection is very fast and no disconnection from my other device. Very affordable and good service.

Data roaming from the US is ridiculously expensive and so I desperately needed an alternative while I was in Paris. So glad Insidr's smartphone service came through! To be honest, I was doubtful about how cheap it was. But wow. For only 3€, I could make calls and send texts to anywhere in Europe. The best part that really surprised me was that I could also make calls to the US at no additional cost. I first thought about just getting a sim card instead of the phone but in the end, it worked out so much cheaper. They also set you up with a direct chat line to the Insidr staff and I got to ask them for some recommendations in Paris. Honestly, the best travel service I've ever experienced. Will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family back in the US!

The mobile phone was very useful, internet was fast. Works even in the subway. Also has a decent camera and long battery life. The only setback is I chose a prepaid return service via mail but I was still asked for cash when I returned the unit despite having a prepaid envelope and postage stamp which was already paid!

Super easy to pick up the phone at CDG, provided that you ask for INSIDR phone, not wifi device. Internet connection is quite stable except for the times you have to restart the phone to be connected again. Maximum of 7 sharing the data at the same time & speed is still good. This deal is good value and I highly recommend.
