After winter begins, the mountain trails will be temporarily closed, and the sightseeing time in Yufuin will be extended by 30 minutes. Starting from June 1st, traffic control will be implemented at the Mount Yufu trailhead, and sightseeing will be changed to car window viewing (without getting off the car). We appreciate your understanding.

Great 4.0

Otis our guide was great. He gave information prior to arrival of each stop. The frog shrine was cute. The Yufuin village was the same stop where we are supposed to get lunch, also. We ended up just eatig street food b/c there is no time to really sit down. The street inside the village is too narrow for the amount of tourist they get. Real disappointed that there were not much time to go inside the stores. However, the new cat shrine outside the village has plenty of room and more relaxed for browsing around. Beppu was awesome and the highlight of the tour. We went to 2 of the 7 hells. I really think that was enough. This tour is pretty good value for the number of places you get to visit.

Our tour guide, Jimmy, was incredibly kind, humorous, professional, and attentive. The entire itinerary was arranged very smoothly, and he proactively looked after our needs, ensuring we had a very relaxed and enjoyable time. His commentary throughout the trip was engaging, and he was extremely knowledgeable about Japanese attractions, transportation, and culture. We are very grateful to Jimmy for his companionship and care throughout the day, which helped us create wonderful memories. If we visit Japan again, we will definitely seek out Jimmy!
