What to expect

Participants will learn the fundamentals of Japanese tempura under the guidance of Instructor Chef Amelia Seko. The session covers how to prepare the ideal tempura batter and achieve a light, crispy texture when frying ingredients such as ebi (shrimp), pumpkin, and eggplant. Participants will also learn to prepare a classic tendon sauce to complement the tempura.
