Where is SkyPoint?
SkyPoint is situated on Level 77 atop the Q1 Building Gold Coast, one of the world's tallest residential buildings, located at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Surfers Paradise at 3003 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.
Is SkyPoint suitable for all ages?
Yes, SkyPoint welcomes guests of all ages. However, as it is a licensed venue, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a full-paying responsible adult. After 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, entry is not permitted for anyone under 18. For the SkyPoint Climb, participants must be at least 12 years old and 130 cm tall.
Do I need to book in advance?
There is no need to book in advance to visit the SkyPoint Observation Deck (except for groups and school tours). However, it is recommended to book in advance for the SkyPoint Climb as climbs can fill up quickly.
When is SkyPoint open?
Opening hours can change seasonally, and the Observation Deck may close occasionally. Please check SkyPoint’s official Opening Hours before your visit.
Where can I park when visiting SkyPoint?
50 complimentary visitor car parks are available in the underground car park below the Q1 Building (subject to availability). Entry is off Hamilton Ave, just after the resort drop-off area. Visitors must register their car details in the SkyPoint lobby. The car park is 2.2 metres high and is only for use during your SkyPoint visit. Tour buses may drop off passengers but drivers must find their own parking.
How high is the viewing platform?
SkyPoint is 230 metres above ground. It’s Australia’s only beachside observation deck and also features the SkyPoint Climb, the Gold Coast’s ultimate high-altitude adventure.
How many people can go into the lift at once?
The lift comfortably accommodates 15 people per trip and is registered for a maximum of 26 people.
What happens if the weather is bad?
SkyPoint offers stunning views of the Gold Coast region regardless of the weather. Many visitors, especially Rewards Annual Pass members, enjoy visiting during storms for a unique viewing experience.
Is there a restaurant at SkyPoint?
Yes, SkyPoint Bistro+Bar offers casual, café-style dining with an all-day menu starting at 11:30am, including High Tea and desserts. The bar serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, craft beers, and cocktails.
Is SkyPoint accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, SkyPoint is fully accessible by wheelchair.
