Skocjan Caves & Piran Full-Day Guided Tour

This tour was fantastic! The cave was absolutely breathtaking—so huge and impressive, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Piran was also a beautiful coastal town with charming streets and stunning views. Our guide, Marco, was the best! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip enjoyable with his great explanations and sense of humor. Everything was well organized, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Slovenia. Thank you, Marco, for an unforgettable day!

Neza was an excellent guide (best one I had in Slovenia). Loads of information about the history of the country, including modern day Slovenia. The tour was well-organized & on time. The cave portion of the tour would be quite difficult if you're not overly fit as there are a lot of stairs & uneven path. You are not allowed to take photos inside the cave. Piran is a small seaside town & nice to visit for a few hours. If you have a spare day, then the change of scenery may be just the thing you need. TIP: Although it is cold in the actual cave, I didn't need my jacket. If you do feel the cold, make sure to bring something warm, either an extra layer or wrap.

We chose this tour because it allowed more time at the Škocjan Caves compared to other tours. Thanks to this, we were able to explore the caves and their surroundings at a leisurely pace. Our guide, Kolja, was always attentive to everyone and provided detailed, easy-to-understand explanations. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and willing to answer everyone's questions in detail, making the entire trip feel relaxed. The Škocjan Caves portion was led by an official guide who provided professional and comprehensive explanations. The caves themselves were incredibly impressive and well worth seeing. The Piran city tour was handled by the ONE DAY TOUR guide, and you could tell he was very knowledgeable about the local history and culture. The only minor drawback was that the pickup time on that day was a bit late, which slightly cut into our free time in Piran, making shopping and taking photos feel a bit rushed. Additionally, the tour price was a bit high; if it were a little cheaper, the overall value for money would be even better. However, overall, the itinerary was smooth, the attractions were worthwhile, and the guide's service was excellent, making it a recommended one-day tour.

The experience was amazing, the Cave are definitely a must visit! it was totally epic! The only downside for me was that visit a place as cold as the cave and then going to the coast to Piran gave my body a shock and I got a little cold, which is never fun during a trip. I would visit both places but at different time.

We had a great day trip with this company! Our guide took us to the Škocjan Cave, which was one of the coolest caves I’ve ever seen. He provided detailed information during the car ride, making the experience engaging. Unfortunately, due to another guest’s schedule, we had to cut our tour of Piran short which was disappointing. That said, the guide did a great job, and the trip was well managed overall.
