Eligibility
- Adult: 19-59 years old (eligibility is based on the traveler's age on the day of travel, calculated according to the date of birth). Excludes those who meet preferential policies.
- Students: 6 years old and above, 18 years old or below (eligibility is based on the traveler's age on the day of travel, calculated from the date of birth). Full-time students with a bachelor's degree or below must present valid identification. Students taking the 2025 middle school and university entrance exams must present their admission tickets.

I accidentally booked the wrong place, thinking it was the Polar Ocean World, so I had to go to the Polar Ocean World and then come back here. When I went to the ticket booth at the entrance, I tried to show them a Papago translation, but the person immediately started yelling in Chinese. Even when I showed them that I'm Korean and don't understand Chinese well, they just kept getting annoyed and yelling. That immediately put me in a bad mood, but then someone who spoke English helped me. Even then, it seemed like they weren't familiar with Klook, as they didn't quite know how to process the entry. Oh, it was tough... The fish and other exhibits were just okay, worth about what I paid for it. You could see similar things in Korea for that price. And why were there two dried seafood shops at the end of the aquarium? It felt a bit strange. They show live fish and then sell dead fish as food. Yes... If I ever come back to Qingdao, I'd go to the Polar Ocean World instead of here.

You can also see various marine life specimens such as sperm whales, swordfish, and sea turtles at the Marine Specimen Pavilion, which boasts a rich collection in China.
- Next, the "Underwater World" pavilion, built entirely underground, will give you a full range of underwater vision. You can stroll through the fully transparent underwater tunnel, feel the fish swimming around you, or watch clownfish and other tropical fish swim around the coral through the cylindrical display tank.
- The live underwater performance in the Ocean Theater is also very popular. You can enjoy the thrilling "Man and Shark Dance," the beautiful and dreamy "Mermaid" performance, and sometimes even see humorous skits performed by divers underwater.
- After learning about marine life, you can finally visit the Freshwater Creature Pavilion to see rare freshwater creatures such as Arapaima, Chinese sturgeon, and giant salamanders, and witness the elegance of these "living fossils."
- Qingdao Underwater World has multiple pavilions. The visiting route is one-way and you cannot go back. Enter from the entrance on the south side of Laiyang Road and exit from the north side of Laiyang Road. Recommended route: Jellyfish Palace - Seal Pavilion - Marine Biology Museum - Whale Pavilion - Underwater World - Freshwater Biology Museum (one-way tour, no backtracking)
Underwater World is located on the west side of the First Bathing Beach. It is a theme pavilion displaying the underwater environment and marine life. Here, you can not only see many living marine animals and biological specimens, but also enjoy wonderful underwater performances, which is very suitable for family tours.
