Stepping into this space, hailed as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, you'll certainly be struck by its grandeur at first sight. The red spiral staircase, like a flowing ribbon, guides your gaze all the way to the second floor; wooden bookshelves and stained-glass skylights allow light to fall on the book spines with warmth. It's said that JK Rowling once lived in this city, and such scenes are often associated with being the inspiration for her creation of "Harry Potter." Standing in the center of the staircase and looking up, you could indeed get the illusion of walking into a magical academy library.
But reality is interesting—there are more people than books. Everyone is holding up their phones, finding angles, waiting for the brief moment when the stairs are clear. So, I simply used a slow shutter speed to turn the crowd into flowing trails. The architecture is static, time is dynamic. At that moment, I suddenly realized that its most charming aspect is not just the title of "most beautiful," but that this century-old space continues to attract people from all over the world to come and admire it. Most beautiful, and also most lively; a bit noisy, but very real.

The bookstore itself is really beautiful, but there are just too many people. It's very crowded, and when going up the stairs or browsing, you're constantly affected by people stopping to take pictures, making it impossible to properly browse for books.

Beautiful bookstore, beautiful staircase corners, it really creates a Harry Potter-esque fantasy. The ticket also comes with a small book, making it a trip worth taking. You really need to book your tickets in advance. I bought several books and took some beautiful photos!

Facility: I think you should see it if you go to Porto. It's very crowded inside, but I really felt it was worth going.

Wonderful experience, the bookstore is beautiful.
Don't just hear about it or see the photos. You have to visit it and live the experience.
I went with my husband, and we left delighted.
We got in line and bought the tickets there. Easy and fast, we received the tickets in our email right away. Highly recommended website. First time using it, and if the opportunity arises, I won't hesitate to use it again.
