This time I booked this restaurant mainly to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Originally booked for 8pm, but that day we finished walking early, half an hour early to arrive, so right and have a table, the clerk arranged for us to sit. When we entered the clerk gave me a menu, because although we are pre-ordered the all-you-can-eat oyster meal, but need to choose back salad, soup, pasta, main course, and dessert. Because we wanted to try different things, we changed some of the food for extra money. Salad had parma ham and crabmeat salad (add $), soup with carrot soup and lobster soup (add $), pasta with tomato pasta and lobster barley rice (add $), main course ordered a lamb chops and stout, and dessert both ordered Basque cheesecake. In terms of food quality, the restaurant is not stingy, we agree that the restaurant uses fresh ingredients, especially the oysters, eat a light seawater taste, I myself prefer French oysters, because big enough and creamy. The portion was also plentiful, not stingy at all, the crabmeat salad some caviar and crabmeat were served in jars of caviar, and it was full. In terms of taste, the carrot soup has a little sweetness, the lobster soup is very rich, the thickness is just right, not some watery soup. The tomato pasta was slightly a bit tough, but the taste was okay, not tomato sauce mixed with pasta. The barley rice feels very novel, lots of small lobsters and fish roe. The lamb chop was ordered medium rare, however when it came to the table it seemed well done, however the meat was still very tender. The fish steak has crispy skin and tender meat, clear and clear. The cheesecake felt average, normal cheesecake flavor, nothing particularly stunning. In terms of service, all the staff were very polite and responsive. Originally ordered barley rice for extra money, but the wrong two pasta for me, and the female clerk told, he quickly served the rice for me, and request refill oysters and wine are very fast. My meal weighed more seaweed toast, at first I thought it was wrong, because the next table did not, but asked the female clerk to know that through klook ordered, is sent two seaweed toast. Being able to maintain a good service attitude in such a busy situation, really need to give them a like. In terms of environment, it wouldn't be crowded, but because it was so right I sat in the middle of two sofas, sunken down, a little not so comfortable to sit. Overall, the whole experience was very good, very high cp value, the opportunity to revisit the restaurant, now doing the catering industry is really not easy, I hope he can keep the standard, cheers.
I didn’t expect that the free flow of oysters would be of such high quality! Oysters were really fresh and were unlimited. The 6-course meal was delicious.
An incredibly delicious five course meal, all of which were tasty above expectations, in combination with the star of the show which was unlimited oysters. The oysters were better quality and size than I expected, and service and refill was fast. Definitely a must for those who love oysters (or food in general).
I went to this restaurant for lunch, and there weren't many customers at noon. I bought the all-you-can-eat oyster set for two people. The two of us ate a total of twenty-seven oysters. The oysters were very fresh, and the other food in the set was also delicious. It was worth the price, highly recommended! The restaurant environment is good, and the waiters' service attitude is also good. They even designed a blessing pattern on our dessert plate according to our ideas, very thoughtful 👍
All-you-can-eat oysters are fresh, sweet, and delicious. White truffle crab meat salad 👍🏻 The soup of the day, carrot cream soup, is delicious. The French fish maw consommé is richer in flavor; I personally prefer the carrot soup. Chef's special pasta, the butter crab roe pasta, is tasty. The lobster and scallop barley rice is richer in flavor. Buy one get one free, very worth it 👍🏻 It just so happened to be almost Halloween, and the staff were all cosplaying, turning their costumes into uniforms 🤣
The food quality is excellent. The oysters, fish maw soup, lobster risotto, and sea urchin ice cream are all very delicious. The sea urchin toast, exclusive to Klook orders, is also very good; the sea urchin is fresh and sweet, and the toast is very crispy. The only downside is that I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it was closer to medium-well when it arrived. The biggest surprise was the excellent service from the staff. They cleared plates very quickly and proactively asked if we needed more oysters!
I chose the Tai Wo branch, which is smaller with fewer tables. After booking, I received a WhatsApp message from the store with the address and route map, which was very thoughtful. I could also pre-select the main course. The oysters were large, and the first round of a dozen had all three types. Afterward, you can choose whichever type you like. The service quality was good. The main course was of average quality. I paid extra to switch to sea urchin sorbet, which is worth a try. For birthday celebrations, they offer complimentary red wine and dessert with a personalized message.
Food was great and generously refilled especially the oyster quality was top notch. Service is great. They even made a special dessert plate decoration as I mentioend the meal was for Mother's day, very thoughtful. The only thing was that the price didn't include the 10%service charge based on intial price. This small detail was quite subtle. Felt being tricked. Wished the net price was clearly shown on klook.
The restaurant’s environment is too dim — it’s so dark that it’s hard to see what you’re actually eating. For the free refills of oysters and the seafood platter, each refill has to be ordered as a full platter instead of selecting individual seafood items. The refill portion is doubled each time, which makes it even harder to finish. If you can’t finish the free refill, they’ll charge the regular price of $688, which makes guests hesitant to order more because it feels wasteful and risky.
The buy-one-get-one deal is a great value. The restaurant has a romantic ambiance, and offers all-you-can-eat oysters, with three types available, two oysters per person each time. The quality of the other food is very high. We chose the foie gras steak and lamb rack, which were very delicious. The location is convenient. We added the two-hour red and white wine free flow for $199 per person plus 10% service charge.
