What is a "Red Envelope Club"?
In an era before KTV, the internet, and streaming music, song halls were once an important form of popular entertainment in Taipei. Singers performed in front of the audience, who drank tea, chatted, and listened to songs. If they liked a singer, they would show their support with applause and red envelopes. There was no distant stage barrier between singers and the audience. Red envelopes were not just tips, but also a form of human connection.

We invite you to truly step into a Red Envelope Club song hall to watch a play. Sit at a song hall table, with the stage right in front of you.
