What to expect
Pass through the Atlas Mountains on this 2-day trip from Agadir. Travel through the Draa Valley, stay overnight in a desert camp in Zagora, ride a camel in the Sahara, and enjoy traditional Moroccan meals.
Day 1: Depart at 8:00 AM with an English, Spanish, or French-speaking driver. Stop in Taliouine (saffron capital) and Taznakht (famous for Berber carpets). Arrive in Zagora Tinfou for a sunset camel trek. Enjoy a traditional dinner and night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 2: Watch the sunrise, have breakfast, and visit Tamgroute’s historic sites. Continue to Taroudant, known as “Little Marrakech,” before heading back to Agadir, arriving around 7:00 PM.
