  • The lotus is considered a symbol of Buddhism. During the flowering season from June to August every year, many pilgrims come to visit the four temples in Nishinokyo, Nara City, which are famous for their lotus flowers: Saidaiji Temple, Kikoji Temple, Toshodaiji Temple, and Yakushiji Temple.
  • The road between these four temples is also called "Lotus Road"
  • The Four Temples Pass includes the admission fee to the four temples and special souvenirs, and also qualifies you to purchase the Lotus Road Special Goshuin (those who have not purchased the Four Temples Pass cannot purchase Goshuin on their own)
