Chiang Mai Half-Day Giant Rain Tree & Sticky Waterfall Tour

Our tour guide, Dum, communicated flawlessly in both Chinese and English, and both he and the driver were very friendly and kind. They managed the time at each attraction perfectly and provided water when needed. The tour vehicle was also very comfortable, making for excellent service. The Sticky Waterfalls tour is highly recommended; climbing up the waterfall against the current in the cool water with just your hands is exciting and fun. For the Underwater Rain Tree tour, we visited during the dry season, so we couldn't get those dreamy photos. However, we were able to explore a temporary island that only appears during this time, discovering giant trees, which was another unexpected experience.

Departing at 6:00 AM, we returned to Chiang Mai city around 1:00 PM, leaving the afternoon free for other activities. The Sticky Waterfalls and the Rain Tree were both quite interesting. It's a shame the reservoir's water level was so low due to the rainy season. Our guide, Fluke, was very fluent in English and friendly, and he also helped us take photos. The transfer vehicle was very clean and new. Highly recommend!

Before departing, I sent an email to inquire about the reservoir and the rain tree situation. Knowing in advance helped manage expectations, so I wasn't disappointed by the low water level at the reservoir upon arrival. The scenery on the way to the rain tree was beautiful, and the boat ride was cool and comfortable with the breeze, though I made sure to apply sunscreen as the sun was strong. The Sticky Waterfall was incredibly fun! Our guide, Fluke, was enthusiastic and humorous, diligently helping us take photos throughout the trip and even thoughtfully providing ice water. He made my journey very enjoyable. Five-star recommendation!

The Giant Rain Tree and Sticky Waterfalls tour was perfectly arranged, and the scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful! Our tour guide was very attentive and managed the time perfectly, so we never felt rushed. The Sticky Waterfalls were incredibly fun, and the entire experience was well worth it.
