In addition, special effects such as water mist, blowing wind, and aromatic mist are cleverly integrated; for example, the fragrance of flowers can be smelled when flying over a sea of flowers, and water droplets can be felt when skimming over a waterfall, further enhancing the sense of immersion.
  • Rich Viewing Content: The film footage is carefully selected, allowing audiences to "fly over" the Great Wall's majesty, the Yangtze River Three Gorges' steepness, Guilin's landscape beauty, and Tibet's snowy sacredness, among other magnificent landscapes across the country, all without leaving their seats, allowing them to experience the unique charm of different regions.

What to expect

The Soaring Over China Theater at Raffles City Chongqing is located at L5-48, Raffles City Shopping Mall, Yuzhong District, Chongqing (next to the Yangtze River Atrium). It is an indoor immersive flying experience.

The theater utilizes 9D naked-eye dome screen suspended flight technology, featuring independent, free-motion suspended seats and an ultra-large diameter spherical screen. Combined with realistic surround sound effects from a 15.1 channel audio system, and special effects such as water mist, wind, and fragrance, viewers feel as though they are truly there.

The theater is open from 10:00-22:00 (ticket sales and entry stop at 22:00). Here, visitors can embark on a visual feast, experiencing a ride on a specially designed aircraft that travels through different scenes, such as Chongqing's Hongyadong, Chaotianmen, and Jiefangbei, and travel to ancient world civilizations, seeing the Hanging Gardens, the Pyramids, the Great Wall, and more. There are also multiple storylines to unlock.
