[Hsinchu Old City's Representative Music Festival Makes a Strong Comeback — 2026 Old City Party]

Huang Tzu-Hsuan, a musician who has won the Golden Melody Award and Golden Bell Award four times, has long used Hsinchu Old City as a music experimental base. Starting from Dongmen REC&LiVE in Dongmen Market, he has continuously launched various cross-disciplinary music projects in the old city area, receiving attention and praise from both domestic and international music and cultural circles.

Since launching the "Old City Party" in 2020, it has disturbed the old city space in different forms every year: in 2020, the first music experiment was launched with Sorry Youth at the Hsinchu Image Museum; in 2021, a ten-year anniversary concert of mother tongue creation was held at Wind Live House; in 2023, the music scene was brought into the Confucius Temple, creating the first "Party at Confucius Temple"; in 2025, it further expanded to connect three century-old historical spaces, creating a multi-stage urban music exhibition. In 2026, the "Old City Party" returns again, connecting three major old city cultural landmarks: Hsinchu Image Museum, Dongmen Market, and Or New State House, inviting 16 groups of musicians from Taiwan and abroad to launch a two-day non-stop urban party with diverse music styles and performance forms. At the same time, 25 selected markets are gathered, inviting everyone to wander freely between music and the streets, feeling the sound and vitality of the old city.

The event wristband is for identification for admission to the "Dongmen REC&LIVE" and "Or New State House" music stages. Please wear the wristband throughout the event.
