Vietnam Unesco Site Tour: Amazing My Son Sanctuary Day Tour

My Son sanctuary requires a lot of walking but a very nice place to visit. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the ancient history.

Very convenient transfer in a Mitsubishi (some kind of crossover). Picked us up from the hotel in Da Nang exactly on time. 1-hour drive. Our driver, Minh Thanh, brought us to the location and waited for us there; you can stay there as long as you like, but in reality, 2-3 hours is enough. It's better to go in the morning, as it will be very hot at lunchtime. I recommend this tour.

730am departure time is perfect. You will reach at 830am for a 1 hr guided tours. At 945am, you watch the show. At 1030am, you leave my son to head back to da Nang.

This tour was absolutely amazing! My Son Sanctuary is truly a hidden gem and such an important piece of Vietnam's history. What made this experience truly special was our fantastic on-site guide who brought the ancient Cham civilization to life with fascinating stories and detailed historical context. The guide's knowledge was incredible - they shared so much information about the temple ruins, the Cham people, and the significance of each structure that we would never have understood on our own. Every detail was explained beautifully, making the visit both educational and deeply memorable.

Our driver Nguyen Minh Phu was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The ride was smooth and well-organized. With stronger English skills, communication and interaction with guests cpuld be even better but overall a pleasant experience. The tour guide My was super friendly takes great pictures and explained the whole tour really well. I highly recommend this tour!

We were late due to having a baby with us, but they were flexible and accommodating.

The itinerary was smooth and comfortable. The advance communication was also very thorough, which put me at ease. However, I chose the guided tour because I wanted to learn a lot about the ruins, but there were times when my questions weren't fully answered, which was a slight disappointment.
