What to expect
Ever wondered what Korean monks eat—and why? Discover the answer through a hands-on vegan temple food class, guided by a practicing Buddhist monk. Held in a calm, contemporary studio inspired by monastic tradition, this plant-based cuisine celebrates seasonality, balance, and mindful living.
As you prepare and enjoy a nourishing meal, you’ll uncover the meaning behind each ingredient—how it reflects Buddhist values and a deeper way of life.
After your meal, visit Jogyesa Temple, the heart of Korean Zen Buddhism. Walk through Insadong’s artistic streets, then explore Changdeokgung Palace—a serene UNESCO site once home to royalty.
Whether you're into food, culture, or mindful travel, this tour offers a grounded, enriching way to experience Seoul —one dish, one temple, one story at a time.
