Machu Picchu & Humantay Lake Multi-Day Trek
Day 1: Humantay Lake Tour
At 4:00 a.m., we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head northeast to reach Mollepata for a buffet breakfast. After, we'll continue to Soraypampa, where the trek begins. We'll walk for 1.5 to 2 hrs to Humantay Lake, located at 4,200 a.s.l. After photos and a guided explanation, we'll return to Soraypampa, enjoy lunch in Mollepata, and return to Cusco at 5:30 p.m.
Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour
Early in the morning, we head to the train station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy) for a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes. There, we'll board a bus to Machu Picchu, where a 2.5-hour guided tour. Then, enjoy free time in Aguas Calientes before returning by train and car to Cusco, arriving at 8:30 p.m.

Train schedules and entrance to Machu Picchu:
- Train schedules: Pick-up and return times will be subject to availability, and the exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day before the tour.
- Tickets to Machu Picchu: Ticket allocation will depend on availability on the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Peru. In the event that there are no tickets available for Circuit 2, you may be assigned Circuit 1 or 3, depending on availability. It is important to note that tickets tend to sell out faster the closer the date of use, so we recommend booking in advance.
- It is important that once you have made your reservation you must to attach your identity document or passport to proceed with the organization of your trip (purchase of entrance to Machu Picchu, train, bus and other services).
Informative meeting or briefing:
The day before the tour, our team will contact you via WhatsApp or email to coordinate the time of the briefing, which will take place at your hotel. During this meeting, our staff will explain the tour in detail and will give you the train and bus tickets, and the entrances to Machu Picchu. We will also confirm the exact pick-up time at your hotel on the day of the tour.
