What to expect
Experience Oman’s beauty from above with Royal Balloon Oman. Our hot air balloon tours over the Sharqiya Sands offer a memorable escape for adventurers, or nature lovers.
The journey begins before dawn with a convenient pick-up to the take-off site between Arabian Oryx Camp and Desert Nights Camp. Upon arrival, guests enjoy Omani coffee and snacks while watching the crew prepare the balloon.
After a safety briefing, board the balloon and gently lift off to 600 meters (2,000 feet) for panoramic views of the desert dunes. Each flight is unique, guided by the wind, offering ideal photography moments in the morning light.
The descent ends with a traditional ballooning ceremony, where guests celebrate with refreshments and receive a medal to commemorate the adventure.
