It’s very convenient. There are buses to and from London, and you can book a flight in advance, so you don’t have to worry about buying a flight before you arrive!
Original travel time from London to Legoland is around 50mins by google map, but there are many bus stops, it was taken around 1.5 hrs per way. Legoland is closed at 6PM, so suggest to buy gift first and then play games, also earlier to get in the bus to grab seat when you go back london, otherwise no seats available.
we had a wonderful time at legoland and we actually went back again another day.
Very convenient trip, just a bus non-direct train, it takes nearly two hours to arrive, I hope to increase the direct train option, it will be even better.
Much fun is found in Duplo Valley. Kids can play and splash water there. Green line 702 was late for 20 minutes when return.
Legoland itself was fun, but I think I made a mistake booking this tour. Actually the company (Golden Tours) only sold us vouchers to the park (which we had to change to tickets at the entrance anyway), and vouchers to a public bus run by Greenline bus company, and these vouchers also needed to be changed to real tickets upon boarding. As it is a public bus, it stops all the time. We went in June, and it took us actually over four hours to get there due to a traffic accident on the way. Also, some young staff at Golden Tours office counter were really unpleasant. If I go next time, I will go by train to Windsor then take a bus or taxi to the park, and buy entrance tickets from the park directly.
The staffs are not very nice they just hand me the envelope and didn’t explain much or where should I take the bus by myself. But the LEGOland is good it takes around 2hours to get there
Please remember to change the ticket in advance! Basically, it is not a chartered car to go to the park. It is a bus ride and it takes a lot of time.
