Reviews
Athena Maria is such a jovial and enthusiastic guide, complemented by Kostas and George (Local guide) made the day enjoyable and informative. If you book this tour (which I highly recommend) make sure you listen to Athena's Greek lessons that break up the journey. Delphi is stunning and truly is the centre of the world 🌎. Amazing trip!
We enjoyed our trip. It was 2hrs drive away from athens and we were picked up early for the trip. Our first stop was Archova which was a very nice town with lovely views. We visited the Temple of Athens Pronaia after, and then the museum then the temple of Apollo. Our guides were all very informative and engaging. It was a bit of a hike to Temple of Apollo for those who have mobility issues like some of our tourmates who decided not to go up. We finished the tour around 2pm and we were brought to town for lunch. The restaurant had fabulous view and we enjoyed the food as well. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.
This attraction isn't very impressive; it's just a few pillars. However, the village along the way is quite beautiful and peaceful, and it was also a filming location for a Korean drama. If you've already been to the Acropolis, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
What made this tour excellent was that the guide was great - mixed historical facts with bit of news about the city. Sat with us for the lunch and ensured that we all were served before joing us for lunch. A great day where we felt welcomed and looked after.
Small group, not many people, good. Stopped in Arachova and another small town along the way, the scenery was nice. But I didn't see part of the Delphi ruins.
The tour of the Delphi archaelogical site felt rushed, I would have liked more time. Otherwise great
