Tainan Private Car Charter

Thank you to our driver and tour guide! 👍 The itinerary was perfectly arranged, covering all the must-see, must-do, must-eat, must-visit, and must-buy spots! I can't believe we managed to do all that in such a short time! (Apologies, as there were many driver changes during the booking process – perhaps a labor shortage? – so I'm not sure which 'true' driver served us. The driver didn't specifically introduce himself on the road, oh well, missed advertising opportunity! 🤣) Here are some of my favorite parts of the trip: 1) Hayashi Department Store. It was air-conditioned, had many high-quality small items, and a wide variety of things to choose from! 2) Siyue Green Tunnel. It was hot and sunny, but the scenery was beautiful, and the guide's explanation was excellent. (For great photos, the front row is best as there are no obstructions. The sides of the boat are second best. Definitely avoid sitting in the middle, it's hard to take pictures there!) Cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5/5

My family and I only had one full day at Tainan and we were very glad that we engaged this service. Klook will update the booking details prior to the trip, but our driver, Mr Su also messaged us one day prior. He was professional, punctual, engaging and drove safely. We appreciated that he gave us many food recommendations and passionately shared about the places we went, even though we didn't opt for a tour guide during booking. He also actively discussed with us about the itinerary to ensure we had sufficient time at each spot, which we appreciated. We were especially touched when we found out that he even helped to call Jingzaijiao Tile-paved Salt Fields in advance to make sure they were open before we headed there, since it was closed for renovation a month prior to our Tainan visit due to Typhoon Danas. The car was also clean and comfortable. We have very fond memories of Tainan and we hope to book this charter service again the next time we're back. Highly recommended!

Mr Lei is very punctual and very nice. For each stop, we didn’t have to wait for more than 5 min. We had ample time in between each station and Mr Lei responds very fast on WhatsApp. We planned our own schedule and Mr Lei helped us plan and navigate around our desired route. He also contacted me way in advance so I be rest assured that he will be there to pick us up on our scheduled day. When our planned places are done, he also suggested more places where we can visit like the Hayashi departmental store and the cultural areas, to make the 8 hour car ride we booked.

We met driver Yang, who was very friendly and polite. He also introduced Tainan's scenery and recommended local food. It is highly recommended that chartered car trips be arranged to places farther away from the city. For places closer to the city, you can just walk or take an Uber. 9-hour chartered itinerary: (mostly self-arranged + discussed and adjusted with the driver) Tainan High Speed Rail (pick up people) - Chi Mei Art Museum - Evergreen Taiwan Sugar Hotel (luggage storage) - Zhou's Shrimp Rolls - Sicao Green Tunnel - Sunset Viewing Platform - Anping Dingqing Wharf Deyang Ship Park - Anping Fishing Port Yacht Wharf - Anping Fort + Old Street - Yuguang Island - Shennong Street - Dadongdong Night Market I have to mention the attentiveness of Brother Yang and his platform company. It sometimes takes a while to buy tickets for the Sicao Green Tunnel. After buying the tickets, you have to go to the waiting room to wait. Sometimes there are dozens of people queuing in an instant. If you encounter a tour group, you have to wait even longer. Brother Yang provided us with tickets in advance, so it was very convenient for us to go directly into the back boat room with the tickets after we got off the bus. After that, we paid the ticket fee to Brother Yang and took it back to the company. It doesn’t matter if this itinerary is cancelled and not used. This is just a benefit that provides convenience to guests and they don’t have to wait in line for too long. Overall very satisfied, highly recommend Tainan charter car!

Our driver is called Vincent. He was punctual in picking us up at 9am in the morning to start our journey to Anping. He is very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of interesting information about each attractions and he also gave us good tips on how to walk the streets, what to eat and what to look out for. Apart from the list of states venues, he also added an extra stop to visit an old school shop for us to take photos. Vincent has a pleasant demeanour and was polite and nice throughout our ride with him. He even sent us back to hotel to drop off stuffs before alighting us at our final stop which is the Blueprint Creative park. we will highly recommend his service.

There was some delay in the morning as the Driver, Mr Pan, has saved wrong number and text wrong ppl. Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable day. He was quick to our texts when fetching us from 1 location to another location. will book from klook again as it is convenient.

Traveling with my mother, I chose to charter a 9-hour customized route and went to Chimei, Sicao Green Tunnel, Anping Tree House, Qigu Salt Mountain, and Beimen Jingzaijiao Salt Field to watch the sunset. The customer service sent us the driver information the day before and provided suggestions on the route; I was very happy to meet driver Xu and felt the simplicity and enthusiasm of Tainan people. He was very responsible. He explained a lot on the way and introduced a lot of delicious food. It was great. I was happy to be able to eat the famous and delicious beef soup and fish skin soup, and recommended different ways to eat it. The driver Xu arranged the time well and had enough time to visit each place, making sure to see the sunset, and also helped to take a lot of photos. , make the journey more complete, recommended!

Since I was traveling with my child, I rented a taxi and I am truly satisfied. I went to the green tunnel, then went around Anping, ate the famous beef soup, and on the way I saw spoonbills, Taiwan's migratory birds, and even saw salt farms just in time for sunset. On the way back, I went to the night market, and they waited for me because I had time left to hire a taxi, so I finished the night market tour. I arrived at the hotel comfortably! It was fully booked for 11 hours! On the way, he explained Tainan's history and tourist attractions in detail, and it was a meaningful trip. Thank you, driver Chen. For your information, you said that the Shanggyeonni course tour is good, so please take note!

Although I traveled alone in Tainan, there were several scenic spots I wanted to visit that were far away from me and public transportation was inconvenient, so I decided to charter a car for nine hours. The driver was very nice. He was not only a chartered car driver, he was also a tour guide. He would tell me stories about different scenic spots along the way. When recommending food, he is also a photographer and will tell me which angle is best and his photography skills are good (because he has taken pictures at the same place and point more than a hundred times 😂) I am very grateful that he understands my bad Mandarin after a day. I want to know more about this place in Tainan. I will come again next time I bring my parents here. I will definitely hire you again!

The private driver was knowledgeable about Tainan and shared generously about the places that we were heading to. The van was really comfortable and the driver was on time and helped to plan the itinerary. As we had some time, the driver offered to show us to some other places that were on the way/in the area. For Tainan, it’s definitely more convenient to hire a private driver to travel around in comfort.
