What to expect
- Hwagae Garden - This is a park created around Hwagaesan Mountain When you climb up to the observatory, you can see all the way to North Korea on a good day, so it is also called a museum without a roof.
- Gyodong Daeryong Market - Gyodong Market was formed by residents who fled from Hwanghae Province during the Korean War. Today, it is attracting attention as a space of nostalgic memories and a retro travel destination.
- Joyang Bangjik Cafe - Founded in 1933, it was the largest textile factory in Ganghwado Island, but as time went by, Ganghwa Textiles declined and fell into disrepair. Currently, it has been reborn as a large cafe and art gallery. The coffee shop space is filled with antiques from around the world, and every object has its own story.

The luge was cancelled due to strong winds, which was disappointing since it was the main attraction. I would have appreciated it if the organiser had checked the weather before we set off. However, we were refunded the luge ticket. On a positive note, the driver provided helpful information throughout the trip. Do note that he spoke Chinese.
Gaiting Garden is really nice, the park layout is very beautiful, and you can also overlook North Korea. The whole attraction is highly recommended! Yangping Textile Factory is OK, it's a reconstruction of an old factory area, and it's OK to walk around. Overall, it's really convenient to charter a car with children. The driver will contact you the day before and pick you up at the hotel on time. It is highly recommended if you want to travel easily!
The driver will contact you a few days ago. Because there are relatively few people on the day, we will take a 6-seater car. The driver will introduce us to the scenic spots and remind us to take a break during the entire trip. The overall feeling is pretty good! - Please arrive at the meeting location 10 minutes before departure. If you fail to board the vehicle on time, you will be deemed to have given up the trip automatically, and the fees will not be refunded.
- Reservations can be made from 1 person, and the minimum number of departures is 4. If there are less than 4 people, the date will be changed or canceled two days before departure and a full refund will be issued.
- In rainy weather, the view may be cloudy due to fog (sea fog) and monorail operations may be suspended due to safety concerns.
- Infants under 24 months old and pregnant women are not permitted to ride the Hwagaesan Monorail.
- If luge operation is impossible due to natural disasters such as heavy rain or heavy snow, cancellation and refund are possible.
