Reviews
Jack was wonderful. Very informative. Loved our tour. Our tour group was a small size and we chose the end our tour by having Dim Sum at a very popular Dim Sum restaurant. The food he ordered us at our Dim Sum place was delicious.
Our tour of 9 people included tourists from India, America, Malaysia, and Spain. The guide spoke only English, but everyone was very friendly. When asked if I was okay with English, I said "little," and they explained everything slowly and repeatedly! We were able to ride the tram without waiting because of the priority tickets. I understood about half of the explanations about the escalator, the old courthouse, and the temple. Lunch was at a very famous restaurant in Hong Kong, which was highly recommended, and we enjoyed 10 dishes, including dim sum. Everyone spoke to me in English, saying they had been to Japan, and I am truly grateful for the enjoyable time. Printing out the voucher made the guide's explanations easier to understand. Our hotel was on Hong Kong Island, so I booked to join from Central, but there was a problem. Note) Klook's Traveler's Information stated the departure from Kowloon was at 9:00 AM, and the meeting time in Central was 9:25 AM, so I arrived at the meeting point in Central at 9:06 AM. The guide who found us said, "six minutes late..." and that they had been looking for us. It's unclear which is correct, but I'm glad we arrived early and were able to participate.
I participated in this tour on the third day in Hong Kong. Our guide, Ricky, was very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the places we visited, I also asked about my favorite Hong Kong singer, and he gave me detailed information, which was very helpful. This tour was in Chinese, so I was a little worried before participating, but Ricky was fluent in English and guided me with jokes, so it was a very fun tour. The other members were all wonderful, and they were always considerate and kind to me, even though I was participating alone. The tour included a spectacular view of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak, a tour of the famous sights of Old Town Central, visiting Tai Kwan, visiting Man Moh Miu, and eating 10 Hong Kong specialty dim sum dishes at the Michelin 1-star Tim Ho Wan. Initially, I applied for a plan without lunch, but the other participants were so wonderful that I wanted to join them for a meal, so I asked Ricky and he willingly changed the plan. The view from Victoria Peak and Lions Pavilion was amazing, and I was able to ride the tram without having to wait. There was plenty of time to take photos at each famous spot, and the tour was packed with things that would be difficult to cover on my own. With Ricky's detailed guide, I was able to experience the charm of Hong Kong in a short amount of time. The food at Tim Ho Wan was also delicious and filling. We ended the tour at the Avenue of Stars. Ricky and everyone else who participated were all very nice, and we had a really good time. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was excellent value for money and we had a really fun time on the tour. Our guide Ricky was engaging and very knowledgeable about Hong Kong. The Victoria Peak Tram was included in the price - fun tram ride and amazing views from the top. A fair bit of walking between sites which we enjoyed. The dim sum dinner was delicious and very filling. Highly recommended tour to take you to all the must see and must do of Hong Kong.
I loved this tour. It was my favourite day amongst the 5 days I spent in Hong Kong. The tour felt a bit rushed in between, especially when we were walking in the Hollywood street. However, overall it was great! Would definitely recommended it to travelers.
The tour guide is knowledgeable and approachable. We have kids and elderly joined, so the trip save us hassle, travel and waiting time especially to Peak Tram. And we get to know more of the historical and background of the places we visited. Last station is Tim Ho Wan for our dim sum lunch, and the portion is more than enough with 10 courses.
Our guide, Ricky, was very good and funny. He made sure that everyone enjoyed. It wasnt just fun, we also learned a lot about HK. We also loved the Tim Ho Wan food which was more than enough. I highly recommend this tour.
It was my 3rd time visiting Hong Kong (HK) but first time joining a day tour because it was my parents first trip to HK. It was a different experience for me as well as we did a street walk around Central (quite a long walk and may not be suitable if your parents are not so mobile) and I definitely love the THW dim sum!
jackie was a great tour guide. very friendly and accomodating. i like the upgrade of the peak tram, last time i was there was 15 years ago and the place has gotten better and has more amenities. if you are new to hk, its a nice crash course. be prepared to do lots of walking!
The tourguide is so kind and accommodating. Our pickup was supposed to be in Tsim Sha Tsui but he let us get on board in Central because we were running late (sorry!). We had such a fun experience and my favorite part was the Tim Ho Wan dining experience. We loved all the food and if we go back to HK we will definitely book this again!
