What to expect
Chandragiri, one of the most beautiful and close destinations in Kathmandu to relax, and enjoy the panoramic views of snowcapped mountain ranges, the lush green hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley. As the Chandragiri hilltop is perched at an altitude, the best way to get there is via cable car. The cable car ride is very beautiful, unveiling the views from the mountains and the cityscape.
After walking a short distance from the cable car ride, we will reach the Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple, a shrine to Lord Shiva. It is said that the King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified the new Nepal, cast his eyes on the Kathmandu valley for the first time from the Chandragiri hills before conquering it. There is a statue of the King standing outside the temple to commemorate this historical moment.

This tour was stunningly amazing. I really loved it. ☺️ Had so much fun going there and seeing the beautiful view. The trip/transfer was smooth maybe because it was on a weekdays as mentioned by my guide (Suk). He was a great photographer/videographer too 📸 Managed to ride the swing and Zipline on top of the hill. Overall I think this is one of the place to visit if you are planning to visit Kathmandu. 👍🏼👏🏼
