Honestly one of the best decisions we could have made! Someone was waiting for us as soon as we exited the airport. The guides were very friendly and hospitality. The bus journey took about 1.5 hours to get to the port. We skipped the queues and went straight to the boat. Afterwards, we were transfered in a van to the hotel. The process would have been very confusing and overwhelming without their guidance. Overall, I would highly recommend using Island Star Express. Definite value for money.

He took me to the hotel without any worries. It's a good idea to use him if you're visiting for the first time. He can communicate even in broken Japanese. The hotel was quite far away, so I felt very safe. It's hot from Boracay to Kalibo, so I turned on the air conditioner! It's much better than riding a tricycle and getting drenched in sweat. The guide is kind, so I feel safe. There aren't many Japanese tourists, but I still feel safe.

It's easy to get back from Boracay to Kalibo. I asked someone to help me because it would be a pain if I made a mistake if I arranged it myself. It's easy because it doesn't take much effort. On the way back, there were two of us, so we shared a van instead of a bus. There were local people getting on and off. It feels local. I didn't mind it that much because I had plenty of time. It took about 2 hours and 40 minutes from the hotel to Kalibo. The city of Kalibo is surprisingly crowded, so be careful.
